Justice for Eton 11

In February 2011, eleven construction workers fell of a gondola while they were on their way to eat their lunch. Ten of them died and the lone survivor suffered from severe physical ailments. The incident did not only lay bare the sorry state of occupational health and safety in the workplaces in the country but also exposed the dismal conditions of construction workers: below minimum wages, non-existent benefits and rampant labour contractualization. To date the family of Eton are seeking indemnification and justice for their lost loved ones. Read more here.
