Second Asia Pacific Women Leading, Women Organizing Trade Union Training

  The Center for Trade Union and Human Rights helped in facilitating the 2nd Asia Pacific “Women Leading, Women Organizing,” Trade Union Training organized by the Asia Pacific Forum on Women Law and Development last November 14 to 19, 2015 in Quezon City, Philippines. Fourteen women unionists and labor activists from across the Asia Pacific region came together in the five-day training to enhance their capacity, increase knowledge and build solidarity towards advancing the struggle for the recognition of women's labor, women's rights at work, decent jobs, living wages, freedom to unionize and the right to collectively bargain.
