Education and Training
In engaging with education work, the Center focuses on equipping workers, semi-workers and other sectors in the labour sector with basic knowledge on their legal and trade union rights as well as international standards in order to protect themselves from exploitative and repressive social and economic conditions.
Among the courses and seminars offered by the Center are:
Basic Labor Standard (BLS)
A course on labor standards that is both inscribed in labor laws and international standards. It is aimed at educating workers about their rights in the workplace.
Human Rights Education and Documentation
A basic course in educating the workers of their human and trade union rights. Included in the program is a course on documentation so that workers can monitor the violations committed against them and utilize the information for their respective campaigns.
Paralegal Training
Basic legal training and education course aimed at equipping non-lawyers, even workers themselves, on how to defend their rights in times of confrontation.
